Steinway & Sons Hamburg

In 1904, Steinway Haus Hamburg opened at the luxury address “Jungfernstieg” at the river Alster. In 1953, it moved to “Colonnaden 29,” and since 2005 it has been located directly vis-à-vis the famous Steinway & Sons Hamburg piano factory.

In 2016 the shop was renamed to Steinway & Sons Hamburg (retail Hamburg).

It hosts a small recital room, dedicated to the famous Steinway Artist Vladimir Horowitz, a large modern showroom and one practice room for rent. About 60 pianos from the three Steinway brands are housed in the 600-square-meter showroom.

At Steinway & Sons Hamburg we view our customer’s satisfaction as our most important task. Whether you’re a concert pianist seeking a Model D concert grand or a beginner looking for an inexpensive piano for home use, you are sure to find the right piano to meet your needs. Take inspiration from our space — its bright, joyful atmosphere, its vast selection of high-quality instruments, and its one-on-one attention from our dedicated staff.
