“The Steinway has been my voice for decades. It has power, color, singing quality, and clarity. Music speaks through the Steinway, my instrument of choice.”

Peter Takács

Hailed by the New York Times as “a marvelous pianist,” Steinway Artist Peter Takács has performed widely, receiving critical and audience acclaim for his penetrating and communicative interpretations.  Born in Bucharest, Romania, he gave his first recital at the age of seven, and, upon emigration to France, continued his studies at the Paris Conservatory.
